2010 Hatyai Trip

Last Christmas, Vince, Jeff & I went down to Hatyai, Thailand for a short trip. We went over to Chulia street to find the Banana House (or something like that lol) and got lost there for a few minutes during the wee hours whoopsie. Failed Penangites, including myself T_T The roads there are just so confusing.Finally after two to three rounds, we found it! Waited a little while for the Thailand van to arrive. Camwhore first lo while waiting, hahaha.

The van reached after 15 minutes or so. Lucky us, we got the VVIP van! No kidding, it's so chio and comfortable inside. The driver drove very fast, quite a bumpy ride. Oh oh! There was thing ang moh beside me, he looked like a football player because of his bald shiny head. So shiny =D Luckily didn't reflect any light from the lamp post to my face when I was sleeping.
The most boring part of this trip was waiting at the border line... So many people... So little booths... Such long lines... Zzzzzzz... Anyhow, worth waiting because Hatyai is a great place!

Once we reached Hatyai, we took my favourite public transport in Hatyai to our hotel, TUT TUT!! A faster version of trishaw with engines :D

Reached Hatyai Garden Home in just a few minutes. I love this hotel !! Very pretty. After all the procedures, we checked into the room.

My goodness, and I thought Penang is confusing already.
So finally, we decided to check out the malls in Hatyai. Bathed and got ready!
Note to self and other girls : Always bathe first when you go to any trip with guys only because they will end up waiting for you instead. You DON'T want to bathe last. Super fast human kind.

We decided to not take tut tut and try to figure out the way ourselves... Walked and walked and errr... lost. Ended up with the cute tut tut. Tut tut was our hero of the day :')

Their McD pwns our McD. Cheaper and yummier and the portion is much bigger! Their Medium meal is our Malaysia Large meal.

We walked over to The Central. Nothing much, just like Parkson. Huge Parkson. Market Street after that. Omg, I love their cashew nuts, so damn yummy and I fell sick because of that.

Slept to regain some energy... Woke up an hour later and got ready for the night market!

HAHAHA. I was trying out the XiaXue curling hair method, it worked!... but not for long because my hair is too smooth (aisheh hahaha!)
Tut tut again to our next destination. YAY! Tut tuts are so convenient and cheap lah. The night market isn't very near but we still pay RM 2 each. If I were to take taxi to the night market in Penang, I kena katok RM 15 already. It's not that I am cheap or anything (denial haha!!) but I don't think we need to waste so much money just for transportation unless its for emergency to get to a certain destination.
First thing first before all the shopping - DINNER !! Yummy yummy dinner, I can die if I skip a meal hor.

After invading Tesco, we took Tut Tut (seriously, my hero lah that tut tut) to West Side Saloon.
A lot of people were there as it was Christmas Eve.

I had a great great night @ West Side Saloon. Best Christmas countdown ever ! Other guests were very very friendly too so are the staffs there and all of the servers so pretty wan, envy aku! Went back around... I don't remember, 2 to 3 am? Slept like a pig... ZZZZZZZ....
